Ipsy Review (#2) and Meal Plan Week 46

Received my second Ipsy bag today and this is my favorite so far!! It includes eco-beauty good day. moisturizer, Pacifica natural mineral coconut eye shadow in a coppery brown color, (Malin+Goetz) mojito lip balm, Manna Kadar sheer glo shimmer lotion, Hik
This is my second Ipsy bag y'all and I am in LOVE!! I almost think this is my favorite bag yet... this one included three full size products, not just samples! Eek! If you haven't heard about Ipsy before, it is a mail subscription that sends you a new makeup pouch each month along with 5 products to sample. And, the kicker? It is ONLY $10 a month! It is also fun to see what others get, because not everyone gets the same products... you fill out a questionnaire and they base your products off of your answers. Sweet!

So are you ready to hear what I received in my Ipsy bag?

Hikari Cosmetics - Mechanical Eye Liner in Slate Grey

I was really excited to receive an eyeliner in a grey color, because I have been loving grey this season. I thought it was just OK... the color doesn't show up over your eyeshadow until you apply it several times.
I would rate it 3/5 stars.

La Fresh Eco-Beauty Be Good. Good Day. Day Moisturizer

This is a natural moisturizer that isn't made with questionable ingredients. What makes it even better is helps protect your skin from anti-aging. I really enjoyed how light and refreshing this felt on my skin and it has a wonderful smell when you first put it on. I have been wearing this in the evening after I wash my face with my clarisonic. The only draw back on this product is that I can't wear it during the day, because it doesn't include any sunscreen.
I would rate it 4/5 stars.

(Malin+Goetz) Mojito Lip Balm
I didn't think I would love this product... oh, yay... another lip balm. But, wow, this lip balm is awesome! I wouldn't say it tastes or smells like a mojito, though... I love how glossy this feels on my lips and it says put for hours. It is now my new on the go lip balm and is in my purse. :)
I would rate it 4.5/5 stars.

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Sheer Glo

I have only tried this product once and I tried it under my foundation (which is a pretty light foundation) and it didn't really show up. I think I may try MIXING it in a dab of foundation and apply it next time, instead of wearing it under my foundation. I also want to try wearing it as a blush. However, I think I am going to save this for our summer vacation in Florida and wear it on my chest and arms for a nice little glo!
I would rate it 1/5 stars.

Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow in Treasure
This is a natural eye shadow infused with coconut water to give it a velvety cream-like finish. I saw that they offered this eye shadow and two different colors and I was excited to receive it in the more vibrant color, Treasure. This is a coppery and glitzy color that is neutral and goes with a lot of my outfits. I wear this when I want my eye shadow to stand out a little more, yet the color definitely isn't overkill... and, I love eyeshadows, so I was really pleased to receive this one. I only rate items 5 stars if I would BUY them on my own... since I really love my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, I can't say I would go out of my way to buy this again.
I would rate it 4.5/5 stars.

The bag I received was really cute... I actually saw one lady monogrammed her bag on both sides and I thought WOW, that could be me once I figure out vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo. :) The bag is white on one side and blue on the other side with a coral zipper.

I am really enjoying Ipsy and I will continue this subscription for a year. I am kind of thinking I may try a different subscription package each year so a little variety... but, Ipsy is definitely all mine for 2015! I really loved how I received three full size products this month and the variety of them. I saw that some ladies received liquid eye gel liner and I was a little jelly that I didn't get that in my bag! I must say, when I see that pink bubble wrapped package in my mail box, I get so excited to see what is inside! If you are interested in trying out Ipsy, please use my referral link below... I get points for free products if you sign up under me! I would appreciate it!

What did you get in your Ipsy Glam bag this month?

Are you ready for this weeks meal plan?

Meal Plan Week 46

Sunday - Honey BBQ Pork Chops with Rosemary Thyme Vegetables, recipe HERE and HERE

This should have been dinner on Saturday evening, but we decided to have a pizza movie night... so, I bumped it over one night. Cooking on Saturday evening should be illegal anyway!

Monday - Red Velvet Pancakes with Strawberries

This recipe is from one of my Pioneer Woman cookbooks... who can resist pink pancakes? The maple buttermilk icing looks really delicious, too!

Tuesday - BLT's and Chips
The kids are having National Schools week, so there is a lot of activities going on at school that I don't want to miss out on... so, most of the dinners will be fairly simple this week with me being up at school during the day. But, some simple dinners are OH so good, such as BLT's. YUM!

Wednesday - Frozen Pizza
Autumn has dance, so it is frozen pizza night!

Thursday -  Freezer Meal: Easy Pasta Bake with Buttered Croissant Rolls, recipe HERE

My freezer storage is looking awfully pathetic... this is one of my favorite freezer meals, so I can't wait to make one for this evening and one to freeze for later. I usually make one with regular pasta sauce and one with vodka sauce so they are a little different!

Friday - Leftovers from Easy Pasta Bake

Saturday - Early Valentine's Dinner
We are having an early Valentine's Dinner, kid free at the Melting Pot! YUMM-O!!!!
