Welcome back to another week of our Motivational Monday Link Up Party! Last weekend we painted my daughters room with rainbow stripes and I am excited to share the tutorial below and also photos of how her room turned out! Next up, I am going to repaint my old childhood desk for her, fix up the chair for the desk and set up a gallery wall around her desk. I can't wait to share the progress I make in her room.
I also started another project downstairs... my desk area has been in shambles since Nathan was born! I plan to clean this area up and I want to turn it into a colorful and bright crafting area. I am even thinking some vertical grey stripes would be pretty on the walls... I can't get enough of painting stripes!
I also went shopping at Home Goods this week... well, first I stopped at Sonic for a yummy Cherry Lime-ade! I wasn't in there looking for anything in particular, I just like to go in stores like these to browse every so often. My favorite find is this purple gold encrusted agate! I put it in my bedroom which has whites, greys, yellows and hints of dark purples in it. I also found to items I plan to monogram with the gold vinyl I got from Silhouette earlier this week. A mirror tray that I plan to display my perfume bottles on and a footed glass cup that I plan to keep my makeup brushes in. Yay! I can't wait to try out vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo!!

- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up to…because of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.

Valentine's Day Gift Tutorial
Andie shares with us how to make an inexpensive Valentine's gift. These letters each have a different cover on the envelope and they also each have a certain time for when you should open them. Andie shares how she did a similar concept before she got married and wrote her fiancé 22 notes to open each day leading up to when they got married. How sweet and meaningful!
Valentine Heart Art (using a Silhouette Cameo!)
Kim from A Girl and a Glue Gun shows how she made some Valentine Art in this post... my favorite is the heart cut outs that are framed. She used her Silhouette Cameo to cut out mini hearts from white paper and then she layered different colored ribbon behind each heart. Such an easy and beautiful craft for Valentine's Day!
