WrapDistressed1

Hi everyone! Well, I hate to say this... but, my white pants collection has grown again! I have been wanting a pair of white distressed denim for awhile and this pair from Angie & Smith fits like a dream! This light gray wrap tank I've paired with them is breathable and chic for the summer. I'm also sporting some nude caged heels, which is another item I've been wanting to add to my closet this Spring! I normally don't wear 3" heels, but WOW these are so comfortable AND after checking in a mirror... my hubby is still a head taller than me!

Five Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Weave Made Media® and Hyperbiotics, but all my opinions are my own. #weavemade #HealthiestDaysAhead http://my-disclosur.es/RgFrEH.

5WaysVac1_650
I don't know about you, but a week before we go on vacation I start to have anxiety and I worry about our family getting sick. On my son's first birthday, we were on vacation and he got the stomach bug and then I got the stomach bug. It ruined our entire trip! My son is now 10 and I STILL start to worry before and even during our vacation that we'll get sick! This summer we have a couple of vacations planned and I've come up with Five Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season and one way is by taking Hyperbiotics!

5 Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season

Tip One - Add Hyperbiotics Pro-Kids to Kids Daily Care Routine
5WaysVac2_650
You have probably heard about Hyperbiotics and how they are helping so many live happier, healthier lives by protecting and nurturing their gut health. Even our favorite store, Target carries Hyperbiotics!

Even better, Hyperbiotics has a blend for kids called Pro-Kids. Your child will take a tiny pearl tablet with water or you can even have them eat it in a little bite of food, such as a piece of a muffin. It's the smallest pearl tablet on the market, so it is easy for kids to swallow. It is recommended for ages 4 and up. The time-released formula helps it survive harsh stomach acids. My kids love them and the tangy orange flavor!

Tip Two - Drink More Water

Drinking water is a good or you and it also helps prevent you from getting sick! If you can't do 8 glasses a day, drink as much as you can. I like to draw 8 check boxes on my to-do list everyday and I check them off while I drink each glass!

Tip Three - Sleep More
5WaysVac4_650
Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every day for a week leading up to your vacation. This will also help your body get more on a 'schedule', therefore you'll be tired and ready for bed when it's time to hit the pillow. When you don't get enough sleep and your body is exhausted, you double your risk for catching nasty infections and keeping them for longer. When you're body is in a deep sleep, it is working on reducing your risk for inflamation and illness.

Tip Four - Build in Down Time
It's important to step away from your devices and to dim the lights and enjoy some quiet time every so often. During the summer, my kids want to go, go, go 24/7, but every day we take an hour (sometimes longer) to have quiet time. They can listen to calming music, read a book or do a craft. I also find that it's best if I join them in the quiet time, instead of trying to anxiously get tasks done around the house. This reduces your bodies fight or flight response and and lowers your stress levels.

Tip Five - Routinely Wipe Down Your Phone and Computer Keyboard
5WaysVac3_650
This should be obvious, but something some of us are too busy to remember to do! I keep a jar of individual alcohol wipes in our kitchen and I get a packet out a couple of times a day, when I know I need to be extra careful about keeping my electronics clean! If I'm sick, I don't want my child to get on my phone and contact what I have. These viruses can be spread to the eyes, nose and mouth... so, don't forget to clean your devices! And, try as hard as you can to not touch your face! Just don't do it.

5WaysVac5_650
Hyperbiotics is the world’s most effective probiotic supplements and comes at an affordable price! In the photo above, you'll see that Hyperbiotics offer different types depending on your needs.

Hyperbiotics have SO many benefits, that I can't believe I didn't start taking them sooner. They encourage better digestive health and can improve energy and clarity. You don't even need to refrigerate them, because they use a patented manufacturing process called LiveBac® that enables them to guarantee the viability of their formulas for 18 months after the date of manufacture.

Hyperbiotics formulas are vegetarian, non-GMO, and free of lactose, gluten, and sugar. There is also no soy, iron, nuts, artificial flavors, artificial colors, or preservatives.

Hyperbiotics promotes improved immunity, so why wouldn't you take them before a big trip? #followyourgut all the way to Target to purchase some for yourself!

Be sure to visit hyperbiotics.com to learn more!

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Probiotics support many facets of overall health when taken regularly as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Happy Thursday everyone! This week has been a little tough... we are having a lot of flooding in our area and it's still raining. SO, I am sharing some outfit photos with y'all from last weekend when we had a sliver of dry weather for an hour. I found this adorable floral/striped combo top from a trendy online boutique called PinkBlush. The floral print on the sleeves has so many great colors in it and I decided to pull out the purple and mint colors with some accents. This top is so versatile and will go great with so many bottoms, such as leggings, white pants or even my maroon pair of pants!

Flower Pot Coloring Tags for Mother's Day

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #HallmarkForMom #CollectiveBias

MomDayPot1_8x10
Mother's Day is coming up and I always like to spend time with my family on this day. Giving a paper card, such as
Hallmark Signature Mother's Day card is one of my favorite ways to tell my mom that I love her. I can include a special note to her and I always love to give the card to her along with a personal gift.

If we have family over, I like to set up a little crafting area for the kids. Since a lot of people tend to start their gardening after Mother's Day, I thought it'd be fun to create some Flower Pot Coloring Tags that can be mod podged onto a 4" terra-cotta pot! These make the perfect gift and kids (and adults!) enjoy making them! I always love to give a little personalized gift with a Hallmark Signature Mother's Day card, it makes it more personal!

Cards
Walmart is again featuring a collection of Hallmark Signature cards for Mother’s Day, a line of premium, handcrafted greeting cards. They are different from other cards in that they have a special design to them or even a gift included with the card. In the photo above, you'll see one card comes with a mug holder and the other one has a delicate carved wooden necklace. I love that my card is also a gift!

Hallmark offers a wide range of greeting cards at Walmart, from Seasonal (Mothers Day, Christmas, etc.) to Special Occasions (Birthdays,Graduation, etc).

Be sure to check out this Ibotta offer with additional savings for Hallmark Signature cards HERE!

Make Your Own Flower Pot Coloring Tags
MomDayPot2
It is so easy to make these Flower Pot Coloring Tags and I am even sharing a free printable that you can use.

Untitled Untitled
At Walmart, go to the card section and find the NEW Hallmark Signature cards. As you'll see in the photo above, they're in their own section.

Untitled
You'll know it's a Hallmark Signature card by the logo on the back!

Supplies:
4" terra-cotta pot and lid
White paint
Jute string
Hot Glue Gun
Mod Podge
Sponge Brush

Create2 Create4
You'll want two coats of paint on the bottom part of your pot. If you purchased a lid for your pot, you'll want to paint it white, too. Then, wrap the top of your pot with the jute string and secure it occasionally with hot glue.

Create6 Labels
Next, you'll want to print out the Flower Pot Coloring Tags template (HERE). Spend some time coloring the tags.

MomDayPot4
Once the tag is colored, you can mod podge it to the pot! Then, you'll have your finished pot and you can fill it with whatever you want!

MomDayPot3
After your pot is done, you can present it to the lucky Mom with a Hallmark Signature card!

Mother's Day Family Picnic Ideas

EntireBlanket1_8x10
Mother's Day will be here next month! We usually go out to brunch with my family, but sometimes we have a picnic later in the day with the kids. It's always fun to go to your favorite park or even a new one and lay out on a blanket while munching on delicious foods on a beautiful day! Picnic food is some of my favorite foods, too! I started thinking about our Mother's Day picnic for this year with the help of Oriental Trading! They have so many adorable gift ideas, trays, floral paper plates/napkins and even Mother's Day crafts for the kids. I even painted and monogrammed this wooden scalloped tray they sent me! So fun!

Mornings and the mad dash after school to get homework done and a snack before extra curricular activities are our busiest times as a family. Also, sometimes my husband travels for work and is gone for the week and I am solo-parenting. I have to stay on top of everything as a mom, or the kids get crabby and the homework doesn't get done till after bed time! That's why I'm sharing this easy recipe for a Fruit Trail Mix using Frosted Mini Wheats 24 oz. You can whip this up and serve into individual bowls for your kids to eat at home or on the go!

Simple Spring Wreath on a Burlap Wrapped Embroidery Hoop {12 Months of Wreaths}

Welcome back to 12 Months of Wreaths!
FloralWreath1_650Hi everyone! Welcome back to our fourth month of 12 Months of Wreaths! This month I wanted to work on a burlap wrapped embroidery wreath with colorful Spring blooms and greens. I would love to recreate this wreath again someday with FRESH blooms. Wouldn't that be amazing? I guess it wouldn't last long, though. This wreath was SO easy and took me a little over an hour. You'll also notice it isn't 'neutral', but I've decided I want lots of color on my porch this Spring... the neutral colors can stay inside the home. :)

Sprucing up a Bathroom with Gorgeous Accessories & Towels

Amara1_650
Last winter, I started to work on updating our hall bathroom, but stopped once we decided to add 'built in' IKEA shelves and a new TV on the wall to our family room. I still have a few things I need to do in our family room to finish it (lighting, coffee table and rug), but I've also been back to work at finishing our hall bathroom! Does anyone else work on multiple rooms in the house? I do and I drive myself crazy! ;) I'm not sure if I could ever handle The One Room Challenge that some bloggers partake in!

2017 Spring Fab Fit Fun Box

Untitled
I just received my third Fab Fit Fun box and I am thoroughly pleased! This is the only subscription box I have going right now and it is plenty! I receive a box every season and it is packed full of a variety of items, such as jewelry, makeup, stationary, home decor, apparel, etc. The box is $49.99 each quarter, but you can save 20% on it today using my code HERE. I do think if I ever tire of this box, I may try to get on with Sephora Play... but, I'm still loving this one! I may even sign up for the yearly membership, that way I can have more control over what colors, etc. they send me.

Goodies Inside 2017 Spring Fab Fit Fun Box

Gypsy 05 - Roundie - $50.00
Untitled
When I saw this item in the box, I squealed! I got the color I most wanted and I just have a thing for blue tie-dye. I have also been wanting a round beach/picnic towel and this is perfect!

Untitled
Here is Miss Aut trying out the new roundie! :)

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Blue Orchid & Like a Virgin - $19.00
Untitled
I was a little hesitant about if I'd like this blue nail polish at first... but, once I put it on I was in love and I've noticed it is a trendy color for this Spring. The white color is fun to pair with the blue or to wear alone for a softer look.

BlueWhite7
If you saw my post yesterday, you'll see I was sporting these colors on my nails.

LUV AJ - Diamond Kite Crawler Earring Set - $85
Untitled
I was given an option of an earring set or bracelet and I went with the earrings. I really, really like the bracelet that some people got and sort of wish I had selected the bracelet. However, these simple earrings in rose gold are really growing on me! They are perfect for just everyday wear.

Untitled
This is what the earrings look like on. My ears are triple pierced on both sides, so this set works good! I rarely wear earrings in my third hole anymore.

Milly - Zip Pouch - $45

Untitled
At first, I thought this was just another makeup pouch... but, THIS bag is water-resistant! So, you can put your swimsuit in it and not get anything else in your bag wet. This is going to be perfect for this summer! You could also put your liquid beauty products in it when traveling or pool toys for the kids.

Karuna - Hydrating+ Face Mask - $28
Untitled
What I found fascinating about this face sheet mask is that it is made out of 100% natural wood-pulp fiber. This mask helps to deep-condition and hydrate your skin. I tried one of the masks already and I definitely noticed a difference and my skin felt moisturized!

Realher - Lip Kit in Deep Red - $48.00
Untitled Untitled
I was SO excited about this lip kit. It contains a liquid lipstick, lip gloss and lip liner. However, the red color is a little too bold for me. I think it'll look nice if I wear a black dress and go out for the night, but I wish they had sent me the pink or nude color! Oh well! Another reason I should join the yearly membership!

Untitled
See? A little too red for me I think... the products in this trio are made from all natural products.

Nature's Bounty - Hair, Skin and Nail Gummies
Untitled
This was an extra in the box, it didn't list a price. These gummies are strawberry flavored and so delicious! I used to take gummy vitamins for my daily vitamins, but realized they don't contain as much vitamins as the capsule that you'd swallow. I used to love my gummy vitamins, but oh well! I love taking these in addition to my regular vitamin, though.

And, I have two more products to share that were in my box:
Untitled
Briogeo - Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray - $20.00
This couldn't have come at a more perfect time, I had just ran out of my other conditioning spray. This product smells GREAT and it must be the rosehip, organ and coconut oils in it. It conditions your hair and also acts as a barrier against heat.

Dr. Brandt - Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator - $79.99
I love Dr. Brandt and was excited to see one of their products in the box! You rub this into your skin and it exfoliates it with aluminum oxide crystals, lactic acid and smoothing botanicals. You're left with smoother and brighter skin!

Total Retail Value of Box: $374.99!! Isn't that amazing?!

I was really, really pleased with ALL of the items in this box! I will definitely continue this subscription! I am always see excited when it arrives. To find out more about FabFitFun, click HERE.
