How to Save Time and Energy Refilling Your Kids Medications

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Phil, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #PhilRx http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Whenever I have to refill my kids prescriptions, it is the biggest headache. I can't even tell you how many times it's been messed up, dropped or has taken twice as long. As a result, I have spent hours on the phone to get a simple task done.

That is why when I heard about Phil, it was like a light at the end of a very long dark tunnel. Phil is a prescription refill service that delivers your ongoing prescription medications right to your door on time. They also answer any questions over the phone, and most importantly, deal with the heavy-lifting of interacting with doctors and insurance so you don't have to sweat it.

For first-time customers, Phil will pay up to $20 off your insurance copay, or $20 off the cost of the medication if you are uninsured, while supplies last.

I have comfort in knowing who I am working with for our prescriptions, because Phil partners with top-rated, locally-owned pharmacies that are licensed by the Pharmacy Board.

When my kids were young, we found out that they both have allergies and asthma. It's a lot to deal with, especially since we had some emergency visits and my daughter even had to stay in the hospital once for her asthma. Thankfully we found an endocrinologist for them and they were put on daily medicine to control their asthma. Our emergency visits are far and few and I can breathe a little easier when they are sick or during allergy season, because of these medications. They are 8 and 11 now and I don't think they'll ever grow out of their asthma, but at least we know we can manage it now.

Phil’s #1 priority is to take the management burden off the customer, which is why I am switching my family to their service. My kids allergy and asthma medications are important and it is something I don't want to have trouble ordering or receiving on time. Their daily inhalers are quite expensive, so I always need to make sure that the insurance is put in correctly and they aren't ordered when we don't need them. Sometimes the doctor puts in a prescription to keep on 'hold', yet the order is put in and we can't return it! These inhalers may be $400 for a 3 months supply at the beginning of the year, so you can see why I'd be upset to receive an order in the mail that should have been on hold! Phil solves the frustration of juggling pharmacies/doctors/insurance, which saves me A LOT of time and worry!

Thankfully with Phil, the Smarter Prescription Refill service, I don't have to worry as much. Phil contacts your old pharmacy and your insurance and doctor does all the paperwork for you. It is easy to sign up for Phil online and you can check your order within minutes. Phil works with most insurance plans. Delivery is free and your refills will be delivered to your door ON TIME!

If you are not 100% satisfied, Phil will gladly transfer you back to your old pharmacy.

Additional Advantages with Phil:

  • If you physically drive to the pharmacy, you can say goodbye to those monthly trips to the Pharmacy and hello to more time in your day to day!
  • Phil guarantees your copay will be the same as what you pay at your current pharmacy. (Some rare exceptions may apply; in those cases Phil will contact you for approval. Most insurance plans are accepted. If you don’t have insurance, Phil partner pharmacies will quote you the lowest price they can obtain for you. Delivery is always free.)
  • Healthcare is personal and should be rooted in community, which is why Phil partners with independently-owned community pharmacies that are highly-rated for their exceptional customer service. I think it is important to shop local when you can!
  • Phil is a new service that is quickly expanding to service all 50 states.
Do you struggle with your prescriptions? Phil streamlines the process, is reliable and saves you valuable time!SaveSave

WrapDistressed1

Hi everyone! Well, I hate to say this... but, my white pants collection has grown again! I have been wanting a pair of white distressed denim for awhile and this pair from Angie & Smith fits like a dream! This light gray wrap tank I've paired with them is breathable and chic for the summer. I'm also sporting some nude caged heels, which is another item I've been wanting to add to my closet this Spring! I normally don't wear 3" heels, but WOW these are so comfortable AND after checking in a mirror... my hubby is still a head taller than me!

Five Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Weave Made Media® and Hyperbiotics, but all my opinions are my own. #weavemade #HealthiestDaysAhead http://my-disclosur.es/RgFrEH.

5WaysVac1_650
I don't know about you, but a week before we go on vacation I start to have anxiety and I worry about our family getting sick. On my son's first birthday, we were on vacation and he got the stomach bug and then I got the stomach bug. It ruined our entire trip! My son is now 10 and I STILL start to worry before and even during our vacation that we'll get sick! This summer we have a couple of vacations planned and I've come up with Five Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season and one way is by taking Hyperbiotics!

5 Ways to Keep Your Family Healthy Before Vacation Season

Tip One - Add Hyperbiotics Pro-Kids to Kids Daily Care Routine
5WaysVac2_650
You have probably heard about Hyperbiotics and how they are helping so many live happier, healthier lives by protecting and nurturing their gut health. Even our favorite store, Target carries Hyperbiotics!

Even better, Hyperbiotics has a blend for kids called Pro-Kids. Your child will take a tiny pearl tablet with water or you can even have them eat it in a little bite of food, such as a piece of a muffin. It's the smallest pearl tablet on the market, so it is easy for kids to swallow. It is recommended for ages 4 and up. The time-released formula helps it survive harsh stomach acids. My kids love them and the tangy orange flavor!

Tip Two - Drink More Water

Drinking water is a good or you and it also helps prevent you from getting sick! If you can't do 8 glasses a day, drink as much as you can. I like to draw 8 check boxes on my to-do list everyday and I check them off while I drink each glass!

Tip Three - Sleep More
5WaysVac4_650
Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every day for a week leading up to your vacation. This will also help your body get more on a 'schedule', therefore you'll be tired and ready for bed when it's time to hit the pillow. When you don't get enough sleep and your body is exhausted, you double your risk for catching nasty infections and keeping them for longer. When you're body is in a deep sleep, it is working on reducing your risk for inflamation and illness.

Tip Four - Build in Down Time
It's important to step away from your devices and to dim the lights and enjoy some quiet time every so often. During the summer, my kids want to go, go, go 24/7, but every day we take an hour (sometimes longer) to have quiet time. They can listen to calming music, read a book or do a craft. I also find that it's best if I join them in the quiet time, instead of trying to anxiously get tasks done around the house. This reduces your bodies fight or flight response and and lowers your stress levels.

Tip Five - Routinely Wipe Down Your Phone and Computer Keyboard
5WaysVac3_650
This should be obvious, but something some of us are too busy to remember to do! I keep a jar of individual alcohol wipes in our kitchen and I get a packet out a couple of times a day, when I know I need to be extra careful about keeping my electronics clean! If I'm sick, I don't want my child to get on my phone and contact what I have. These viruses can be spread to the eyes, nose and mouth... so, don't forget to clean your devices! And, try as hard as you can to not touch your face! Just don't do it.

5WaysVac5_650
Hyperbiotics is the world’s most effective probiotic supplements and comes at an affordable price! In the photo above, you'll see that Hyperbiotics offer different types depending on your needs.

Hyperbiotics have SO many benefits, that I can't believe I didn't start taking them sooner. They encourage better digestive health and can improve energy and clarity. You don't even need to refrigerate them, because they use a patented manufacturing process called LiveBac® that enables them to guarantee the viability of their formulas for 18 months after the date of manufacture.

Hyperbiotics formulas are vegetarian, non-GMO, and free of lactose, gluten, and sugar. There is also no soy, iron, nuts, artificial flavors, artificial colors, or preservatives.

Hyperbiotics promotes improved immunity, so why wouldn't you take them before a big trip? #followyourgut all the way to Target to purchase some for yourself!

Be sure to visit hyperbiotics.com to learn more!

SO, I am sharing some outfit photos with y'all from last weekend when we had a sliver of dry weather for an hour. I found this adorable floral/striped combo top from a trendy online boutique called PinkBlush. Flower Pot Coloring Tags for Mother's Day

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #HallmarkForMom #CollectiveBias

MomDayPot1_8x10
Mother's Day is coming up and I always like to spend time with my family on this day. Giving a paper card, such as
Hallmark Signature Mother's Day card is one of my favorite ways to tell my mom that I love her. I can include a special note to her and I always love to give the card to her along with a personal gift.

If we have family over, I like to set up a little crafting area for the kids. Since a lot of people tend to start their gardening after Mother's Day, I thought it'd be fun to create some Flower Pot Coloring Tags that can be mod podged onto a 4" terra-cotta pot! These make the perfect gift and kids (and adults!) enjoy making them! I always love to give a little personalized gift with a Hallmark Signature Mother's Day card, it makes it more personal!

Cards
Walmart is again featuring a collection of Hallmark Signature cards for Mother’s Day, a line of premium, handcrafted greeting cards. They are different from other cards in that they have a special design to them or even a gift included with the card. In the photo above, you'll see one card comes with a mug holder and the other one has a delicate carved wooden necklace. I love that my card is also a gift!

Hallmark offers a wide range of greeting cards at Walmart, from Seasonal (Mothers Day, Christmas, etc.) to Special Occasions (Birthdays,Graduation, etc).

Be sure to check out this Ibotta offer with additional savings for Hallmark Signature cards HERE!

Make Your Own Flower Pot Coloring Tags
MomDayPot2
It is so easy to make these Flower Pot Coloring Tags and I am even sharing a free printable that you can use.

Untitled Untitled
At Walmart, go to the card section and find the NEW Hallmark Signature cards. As you'll see in the photo above, they're in their own section.

Untitled
You'll know it's a Hallmark Signature card by the logo on the back!

Supplies:
4" terra-cotta pot and lid
White paint
Jute string
Hot Glue Gun
Mod Podge
Sponge Brush

Create2 Create4
You'll want two coats of paint on the bottom part of your pot. If you purchased a lid for your pot, you'll want to paint it white, too. Then, wrap the top of your pot with the jute string and secure it occasionally with hot glue.

Create6 Labels
Next, you'll want to print out the Flower Pot Coloring Tags template (HERE). Spend some time coloring the tags.

MomDayPot4
Once the tag is colored, you can mod podge it to the pot! Then, you'll have your finished pot and you can fill it with whatever you want!

MomDayPot3
After your pot is done, you can present it to the lucky Mom with a Hallmark Signature card!
