Dyeing eggs

April 11, 2009 Leave a Comment

Last night while Nathan was in bed, I set up everything so he’d be ready to dye eggs after breakfast and during Autumn’s morning nap.

The goodies!!

Generic dye kit from Walgreens

These were kind of neat- they are like q-tips and you paint on the eggs with them

This is a rubber stamp kit with dye instead of ink!

Nathan ready to dye

Nathan started with the bunny stamp kit

There was a paintbrush with the bunny stamp kit and Nathan wanted to paint the tray

I wrote Nathan’s name on his egg with a wax crayon. He loved this so we also made one for Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa! Of course… my egg got cracked on the floor and Nathan was all giggles about that. So, we made Mom (me) a new uncracked egg.

All smiles

Kerrr-PLUNK!

Nathan loved to mix the dye around the egg

Little Bits even got some eggs to play with

She tried and tried to pick one of those eggs up

She got one!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Where did the other 2 eggs go? She knocked them on the floor!
