Welcome back to another week of our Motivational Monday Link Up Party! Today I wanted to welcome you to our NEW host, Bethany from The Southern Couture! Be sure to stop by her blog and to tell her ‘Hello!’.
Well, the kids went back to school this week and I spent a lot of the week trying to get well from the second cold I’ve gotten in two weeks. š So, unfortunately… my Christmas decor is still up (I did get the tree down!) and I didn’t get to start on any organizational/craft projects just yet. Is anyone else feeling like they are having a hard time getting jump started again after the holidays?
I did get out to Hobby Lobby today to buy a few things for some craft projects I am planning… and, wow… they had all the Christmas aisles cleared and in them they had mirrors, furniture for storage, etc., etc. I just wanted to pull up a truck and load it up… but, the hubby probably wouldn’t like it if I took out a second mortgage so they I could deck the halls with Hobby Lobby decor. š I did find this adorable 3-tier shelf on clearance for only $17!!! I am trying to decide if I want to paint it a different color and where I want to put it in our home (I have a couple ideas).

Meet Your Hosts
Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours, something that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.
- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up toā¦because of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.
Each week, your hosts will choose a few posts to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site. Link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST.
Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button in the sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!
Upcycle Christmas Cards Into Winter Bunting
Are you trying to figure out what to do with your old 2014 Christmas cards? Why not make them into a beautiful winter bunting! Bre came up with an easy idea of using a round paper punch to cut circles out of your old Christmas cards… she said this bunting only took her 20 minutes! Can’t beat that, right?!
Arrow Jewelry Holder
Katie had these wooden arrows laying around her house and found some hooks on clearance to attach to one of the arrows. I adore the fun colors she painted the arrows (especially the gold one!) and how well they go in her daughters room. What a fun way to hang jewelry!
