I’ve been working with Simply Earth for a few years and they reached out to me several months ago about using 10 or so of my photos in their 2020 Essential Oil Recipe Book.

Interviews:

I have been an ambassador for Aventura for a few years and they kindly asked me to do an interview for their site. Here is their description of the interview: Our ambassador Carrie Albrecht, a sustainability-obsessed mom of a teenage daughter, understands the importance of fashion to both mental health and the environment. As a true expression of creativity (of which Carrie is brimming with!), fashion plays a huge role in her life, but this blogger is conscious of what she’s leaving behind. I’d love for you to check out the interview HERE.

🍞 My first week learning sourdough! What start 🍞 My first week learning sourdough!

What started as a simple summer goal quickly turned into a fun new hobby. There were definitely a few moments when I wondered if my starter was ever going to cooperate, but after lots of feeding, waiting, and troubleshooting, it not only doubled... it TRIPLED in size! ✨

Today on the blog, I’m sharing my beginner sourdough journey, including how I activated my starter, the feeding schedule that finally worked for me, and a few lessons I learned along the way. 🌸

These simple routines and hobbies have made this season feel extra special. Sharing all the details (and a few favorite photos!) on the blog today.

🏃‍♀️ Race Recap: Taco the Town 5K 🌮 T 🏃‍♀️ Race Recap: Taco the Town 5K 🌮

This one definitely wasn't my day. Between thunderstorms, pouring rain, a late race start, warm temperatures, crowded conditions, and a less than ideal warmup, it felt like everything was working against me from the start.

But sometimes races aren't about perfect conditions or personal records. They're about adapting, learning and finding a way to keep going when things don't go according to plan.

The best part? I left with a few lessons, a 1st place F40-49 age group award🥇(!!) and a reminder that every race has something to teach us.

I’m sharing the full race recap (plus what happened when I decided to try again the following weekend!) on the blog today.

Do you prefer racing in cool weather or can you handle the heat? ☀️🌧️
