The Creative Corner Link Up Party & Weekly Recap – 01/15/17

Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week!

This week was pretty busy, but somehow I failed to take a lot of photos. Oops! On Monday, Nathan had his D.A.R.E. graduation and he won 1st place on the essay contest. His D.A.R.E. officer even sent his essay to the governor, which was special. Nathan got to read his essay at the graduation and he also got a medal and a cute stuffed animal of the D.A.R.E. mascot! How fun! I was at Hobby Lobby picking up items for a special project that Autumn had at school and I’ve been eyeing this light up sign for awhile. I found out that I could use the 40% off coupon on it and I was able to purchase it for $23! Does anyone have a lightbox? I am excited to try it out and it may be going on our new IKEA shelves!

This week was also Brian’s birthday and we went out to dinner at Olive Garden with the kids and I made him an upside down German chocolate cake. I got a photo of the cake on IG Stories, but not an actual photo. Oops! I guess I need to be better about using my camera AND taking IG stories. If you aren’t following me on Instagram or IG Stories yet, you can at @curlycraftymom

The only other exciting thing that happened this week is that the kiddos got an ‘ice’ day on Friday. We are getting ice ALL weekend, however Saturday turned out to be just cloudy. We had blueberry muffins and worked on Valentine Cards on their ‘ice’ day home from school. Fun times! 🙂

Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.

• Limit three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
• Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
• Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up to.

Each week, your hosts will choose a post to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts in someway. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site, as well as receive a weekly e-mail letting you know when the party is live. We will never give your e-mail or info to anyone, nor will we spam you! The Creative Corner link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST. I’d love for you to grab The Creative Corner button in my sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!

Now hop over to all the other cohost’s blogs and see what caught their eye this week. You just might be featured there too! Don’t forget to grab this button if you’ve been featured.
