Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this post with you today, because it is a post I have been thinking about in the back of my mind since we booked our trip to Italy several months ago. I am sharing THREE Outfit Ideas for a Trip to Italy! These ideas would also work for several other trips you may be taking, too. I went on a little shopping trip to pick up a few items I needed to compliment items that were already in my closet and I'll be sharing outfit ideas for traveling on a plane/train, museum/winery or dinner out!

Do you ever feel like you need to Create Your Own Sunshine? I want to look my best for this trip and some of the items I will be wearing are white or will show my arms/legs... which means, I need my skin to have a little more color to it! I wanted to do this in a natural and healthy way, so I also took a trip to Walmart to pick up some of JERGENS® Natural Glow® products. These products are great for the Spring/Summer and special occasions, such as my upcoming trip to Italy!

I found the JERGENS® Natural Glow® products at Walmart in the Health & Beauty area.

You may also get lucky like I did and find a 'Save $3.00 on any 2 full size JERGENS® Natural Glow® Product (Offer excludes trial and travel sizes)' coupon on the boxes! What a deal!

Applying JERGENS® Natural Glow® FACE Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 20

Untitled Face
I decided to select this gradual glow moisturizer since I could build up the color over a few days. Every morning after my shower, I would apply a small dot of the moisturizer on six section of my face (don't forget your neck!) and rub it all in. This worked out great and prevented me from putting too much on my face at once. The lotion goes on clear and I could put my makeup on after about 5 minutes. After three days I had the color I wanted and I was able to maintain that color by applying the moisturizer 1-2 times a week after that. I was also glad that the moisturizer included a sunscreen SPF of 20 (for incidental sun only)

Applying the gradual glow moisturizer was easy, I just put some on my fingers and smoothed it over my arms and legs. I waited about 10-15 minutes to let it dry and then I got dressed out of my bath robe into my clothes. The lotion glides on clear, so no worries about staining your bath robe! It also has a soft smell that is pleasant.

Now our skin is prepped and we are ready for some FUN travel outfits! Let me share with you, 3 Outfit Ideas for Italy (or any other fun vacation you have planned this summer!):

Outfit #1 - Airport/Train Travel
I will be catching (two!) flights to get me to Italy and I always want to wear layers and something comfortable when I'm flying. We will also be traveling by train two times when we go from Rome to Florence and from Florence to Venice.

This outfit includes:
  • a sporty tee
  • chambray shirt (can be worn if plane/train is cold)
  • black denim pants
  • watch
  • light jewelry
  • medium sized bag with strap
  • tennis shoes that slip/on off easily

Outfit #2 - Museum/Winery
We plan to do a lot of sightseeing, museums and even a day at the winery while in Italy! I added a light jacket that can be worn or taken off. I'm also wearing some comfortable flats and a clutch that comes with a removable strap.

(Special note, if you are visiting the Vatican, you'll need your shoulders and KNEES to be covered. Same with any churches you'll be visiting. On these occasions, you'll want to wear a tee with pants or capris.)

This outfit includes:
  • White Jacket
  • Bright Tank Top
  • Floral Skirt
  • Flats
  • Clutch with Removable Strap
  • Light Jewelry

Outfit #3 - Dinner Out
For a dinner out, I was going to select a LBD, but decided upon this white and black dress instead. I really like how the white in this dress brings out the glow that the JERGENS® Natural Glow® products have given me. I kept the jewelry and shoes simple in gold colors.

This outfit includes:

  • White and Black Dress
  • Gold Jewelry
  • Gold Heels
  • Clutch with Removable Strap

Helpful Tips/Tricks for Applying JERGENS® Natural Glow® Products:
  • Exfoliate before first use
  • Use sparingly on knuckles, knees, ankles and in-between fingers/toes
  • Choose the right shade based on your skin tone, since I have light skin I selected the Fair to Medium shade
  • For the gradual glow moisturizers, use daily for a few days and then use 1-2 times a week to maintain the color
  • The SPF in the +PROTECT and FACE products are for incidental sun and not for laying out
Are you ready to Create Your Own Sunshine? What are you looking forward to this Spring/Summer and which of these JERGENS® Natural Glow® products would you try?
