Angry Bird Treat Bag Craft

Since both of my kids are going to be birds this Halloween (Nathan will be the red angry bird and Autumn a beautiful baby owl), I have started to think about their treat bags. Luckily, Autumn’s treat bag came along with her costume that I bought on EBay. However, there really isn’t any treat bags to buy for the angry birds costume. Soooo, I decided to make one!

I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a black fabric bag for $2.99. I also bought some sheets of felt in the colors I needed (black, red, tan, white, etc.) and then found an image of the red bird online. I printed out the image to the size I wanted and cut out the individual shapes/pieces of the bird such as the body, eyes, eyebrows, etc. I outlined on the felt the shapes and cut them out. Then I used fabric glue to glue all the pieces together and to glue the finished bird onto the fabric bag.

Ta-da! Angry bird treat bag!
