Stockings Filled with Gifts

December 26, 2012 Leave a Comment

Elfie-by-Stockings
Elfie decided to return from the North Pole with presents for our stockings the day before Christmas Eve. I always enjoy doing the stockings a little early… it just makes it a little more sweeter.

Kids-and-their-stockings
The kids came home from their Dad’s to find the stockings on the couch filled with presents… Elfie had left another surprise, too, he had made a mess in the bathroom and had trailed toilet paper into the living room. That Elf!

Nathan-and-corn
Since all of the stocking stuffers were wrapped this year, I decided we would play a game. Brian has a 4 face dice, and we each picked a number. If your number was drawn, you got to pick one gift out of your stocking. This really got the kids worked up, especially if their number wasn’t called… loved their excitement! Nathan is holding a microwave popping corn here that Brian found in a little store off of Main Street in St. Charles.

Auttie-and-her-gift
Autumn would unwrap her stocking stuffers, then hide them behind the cough cushions! Lol!

Aftermath
The aftermath.
