Easy Cranberry Salsa & the Perfect Crunch for Holiday Appetizers

November 10, 2019 Leave a Comment

I’ve partnered with Blue Diamond® as part of an Influencer Activation and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

The holidays are my favorite time of the year and I enjoy hosting and trying out new and familiar products when preparing for guests or just a special evening with my family. Recently, I learned about Blue Diamond Nut-Thins at Walmart and I love how wonderfully these crackers pair with any quick appetizer, such as this Easy Cranberry Salsa. The holiday season is a special time to give to others in need. Blue Diamond will be donating a portion of sales to Toys for Tots.

These Nut-Thins are the perfect cracker for your fun gatherings this holiday season. This sturdy snack is well-suited for anything you’d like to top it with and makes the perfect companion for dips, such as this Easy Cranberry Salsa (see recipe below). I picked up the Original, Hint of Sea Salt (a low sodium choice!) and Pecan varieties of Nut-Thins at my last visit to Walmart. I love that they come in a variety of flavors that will please all of your guests this holiday season.

Easy Cranberry Salsa

Ingredients:

  • 12 Ounces Fresh Cranberries
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Jalapeños, Diced (Ribs and Seeds Removed)
  • 1/4 Cup Finely Chopped Cilantro
  • 1/4 Cup Sliced Green Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Orange Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • Blue Diamond Nut-Thins

Instructions:

  • Blend cranberries in food processor, until partially blended (leave some small pieces of cranberry).
  • In a bowl, place the chopped cranberries and add sugar.
  • Stir in jalapenos, cilantro, green onions, orange juice and lime juice.
  • Cover bowl and put in refrigerator for 30 minutes to let the flavors combine.
  • Serve with Blue Diamond Nut-Thins

I’ve been trying to keep my guests dietary needs in mind when planning out what to serve this holiday. Nut-Thins are wheat and gluten-free, are made with California-grown almonds with no artificial ingredients. And, as a bonus… they’re low in calories!

One of the reasons the holiday season is so dear to me is because it is a time of giving! Blue Diamond will be donating a portion of their sales to Toys for Tots. It’s wonderful that I can support this charity all while picking up my weekly groceries at Walmart.
