The Diffuser Blend this month is the Citrus Summer Diffuser Blend, which gives an uplifting and awakening aroma with Grapefruit, Citrus Burst and Juniper Berry Essential Oil Blends. I whipped it up in THIS essential oils diffuser I found off Amazon. It comes in several different colors and I love its compact size and neutral color. It worked nicely at diffusing the Citrus Summer Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

Recipe #1: Sweet Citrus Lip Balm

I am a lip balm junkie and I’ve been paying some big bucks to order some that are made with all natural ingredients. Well, when I saw that there was a recipe to make this Sweet Citrus Lip Balm in this month’s recipe box, I was so excited!

To make the Sweet Citrus Lip Balm, microwave beeswax, almond oil and coconut oil together. While still hot, add essential oils and stir for at least 30 seconds. Quickly pour mixture into the two lip balm tubes provided (use a funnel to make pouring easier). Allow to cool to room temperature before using.

Recipe 2: Cucumber Soothing Eye Mask

I’m all for an eye mask that will help brighten my dark eye circles! I was excited to see this Cucumber Soothing Eye Mask recipe in the box this month, because it contains real cucumber in it! I have been growing cucumbers in my garden, so this was wonderful to try out on one of them!

To make this recipe, cut your cucumber into small pieces and use a food processor to mash cucumber. Pour the cucumber mixture through a sieve into a bowl. In a small bowl, mix essential oil and carrier oil. Pour into cucumber juice. Fold cotton round eye pads (provided in this month’s box) in half. Soak in mixture then place in a sealable container and freeze.

To use: Apply masks under eyes for 5-10 minutes to reduce dark eye circles.

Tip: If you end up with extra mixture, stir and pour into an ice cube tray to create a frozen facial to help shrink pores and soothe redness.

Recipe 3: Citrus Face Mist

In the morning, I work out first thing in the morning and I love to spray my face with a mist to help me wake up! This Citrus Face Mist is invigorating and helps me to perk up while I’m getting dressed and ready to go hit the weights (or pavement!).

To make this recipe add the Grapefruit, Citrus Burst and Juniper Berry essential oils to hot water. Cover and let sit for 20 minutes or until the water has cooled to room temperature. Pour water mixture through a coffee filter to remove oil drops. Pour mixture into a spray bottle.

To use: Spray face throughout the day to refresh, set makeup and balance your skin’s oil production.
