Happy Friday Everyone!
September came and went before I knew it, and I was so sure I’d slow things down in October (I even made a Fall Bucket List HERE to help!). But somehow, this month has flown by even faster. And now, holiday content is already taking over my feed—where did fall go?
One – HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Halloween on a Friday? Yes, please! It’s the perfect excuse for a cozy night in with pizza, s’mores, and a never-ending candy bowl. We usually stay home and hand out treats while the teens head off to their friends’ houses. If I can squeeze it in, I love stopping by my mom’s so she can see them in their costumes. I don’t really dress up anymore, but I used to have so much fun with it! How do you usually spend your Halloween night?

I don’t usually dress up these days, but if I did, this sweet Cat Lady costume from Amazon would be calling my name.
Two – Field Hockey is a Wrap for Junior Year!

Wow!! What a change this was from dance! Autumn decided she wanted to play field hockey this year and she learned a lot about the sport all while having fun with her teammates. Her coaches were so supportive as she was brand new to the sport! It was fun to see her grow each game. Autumn isn’t afraid to try something new and I’m glad she gave it a go! Next up she’s going to be doing some strength/weight classes with one of her field hockey coaches and in the Spring back to dancing/theater! I love to watch her grow! And I still can’t believe we are in her Junior year!

We had sandwiches, chips and her field hockey coach even made cookies that look like field hockey sticks. So fun!

Then we finished the night with a Parent Vs. Student field hockey mini game. Autumn got the ball away from me!
Three – Fall Happenings

Brian and I celebrated our anniversary on October 6th! He surprised me with the most beautiful roses and even took the day off work! We quickly discovered that all of our favorite spots are closed on Mondays (of course, right?!), but we made the best of it and found the cutest little crepe place for lunch. And to top it off, I treated myself to a Pumpkin Carmelicious from Scooter’s—so good!

I love browsing Kirkwood’s Farmers Market in the fall. Nathan has two days a week where he only has one class, so he went along with me.

We brought home some homegrown tomatoes, apple pie, apples, pumpkin bread and a pumpkin. It was fun to browse the booths for unique fall finds!

I usually have a picky plate for lunch and I’ve changed it up a little for the fall. I’ve been adding some warm beans and also a Greek yogurt (on this particular day I had the pumpkin flavored one!).

I made my Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins for my Bible Study brunches. They were so good! Find the recipe HERE.

Five – Latest Finds

Factor sent me over some of their fresh meals to try and they were delicious! They have breakfast, lunch and even GOURMET dinners (filet mignon was SOOO good!). I have a discount code to share with you if you’d like to try them out, it is CURLYCRAFTYFB50 for 50% off your first Factor box + FREE breakfast for a year! Click here to sign up!

I was so excited to find out I won Jill’s (Doused in Pink) Michelle Geller giveaway! I can’t wait to try all of these products!

I ended up with a double dose of Treat Box this month—two boxes at once! The September box ran late thanks to the new tariffs, and since these goodies come all the way from the UK, shipping can be a little tricky sometimes. My Christmas Advent Calendar box is on its way now, though, and I can’t wait! As much as I’ve loved getting these monthly surprises, I think I’ll be saying goodbye after the December box. It’s been such a fun treat for the year, but with the added tariff costs, it’s getting a little pricey. Still—what a fun ride it’s been!
Have a HAPPY and SAFE Halloween, friends!
