Just wrapped up the Gumbo Flats 10K! 🎃🏃‍♀️ Part of a small airport in Chesterfield, this course is super flat — perfect for a fast fall race. The morning was unseasonably warm, my upper thigh on my left leg was still sore from a recent half marathon, and somehow… I still ran my second-best 10K ever! 💪 Loved all the cute swag — a Snoopy long-sleeve shirt, snacks, and even a squishy soccer ball and truck. 🩵⚽🚗 The vendors were amazing too — Trader Joe’s pumpkin bars and apple juice, The Melting Pot strawberries and brownies (wish there had been chocolate sauce! 🍫😂).
